Piano Recital at the Mansion House in Cardiff

Works by Haydn, Schubert, Sibelius and the Swiss composer Frank Martin.

Olivia Geiser received her first piano lessons at the age of five. In 2005 she began to study with Hans-Jurg Strub at Zurich University of Arts from where she graduated in 2010. She continued her studies in the Master of Music Programme at the Royal Acadamy of Music in London with Ian Fountain and graduated with Distinction in 2012.

Swiss pianist Olivia Geiser received her first piano lessons at the age of five. In 2005 she began her studies with Hans-Jürg Strub at the Zürich University of Arts where she graduated in 2010. She continued studying in the Master of Music programme at the Royal Academy of Music in London with Ian Fountain and graduated with Distinction in 2012.

Olivia won prizes in national and international music competitions. In 2012 she was commended in the Carpenter Recital prize and was awarded the Dorothy Bryant Award.

In the UK, Olivia has given recitals in Regent’s Hall and in St. Martin-in-the-Fields in London. ( See her website for an updated CV)
